NIYA was born from an intention as simple as it was profound:
Facilitate prayer, honor modesty, accompany my sisters wherever life takes them.
While living in Indonesia, I discovered mukena .
There, at each call to prayer, women adorn themselves with this ample, flowing, elegant veil.
They pray in peace, at home, at the mosque, in the middle of nature.
Always ready, always at peace.
It is not just a piece of clothing.
It's a cocoon. A sacred bubble.
A symbol of modesty… and freedom.
From Indonesia to France: a different reality
Returning to France, the contrast struck me.
Many sisters pray in improvised outfits: a scarf that is too thin, a cardigan over a dress, a mixture of clothes that are never really suitable.
Not through negligence.
But for lack of an alternative.
For lack of clothing designed for them , for us , here.
And yet, the intention is there.
Strong. Beautiful. Sincere.
The intention to pray in modesty, in tranquility, in dignity.
This is where NIYA was born.
A brand designed as a gentle response to a deep need .
A revisited mukena , adapted to the lives of today's women.
Women praying.
Women who work, travel, create, raise, move forward.
Women on the move, but connected to what matters.
NIYA is for all those who want to be able to pray anywhere, anytime without asking themselves a thousand questions.

I wanted each mukena to be:
– light as a feather,
– practical like a bag that you always keep with you,
– elegant , without ever trying to attract the eye,
– fluid and ample , to respect the body as much as the intention.
Each model is carefully designed, delivered in its small carrying bag, ready to follow you through all stages of your life.
In a break room at work.
When traveling.
At home or between appointments.
Because prayer doesn't stop when life speeds up.
Why “NIYA”?
Because it all starts with an intention .
